About Me

I am a proud mother of two young adults and the spouse of a U.S. Army veteran. For over 22 years, my family and I navigated the unique challenges of military life, living and traveling across the globe before ultimately making Tampa our home.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University in 2010, followed by a Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University in 2014. My passion lies in helping individuals recognize their inner strength and resilience. I believe that, with support and guidance, anyone can overcome life’s challenges. My goal is to partner with my clients to replace ineffective coping strategies and negative self-talk with positive, sustainable tools they can carry with them well beyond our sessions.

I have experience working with children, foster youth, adolescents, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, and grief. While I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also offer a faith-informed approach for those who find strength and healing through their spiritual beliefs.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, empathetic, and approachable—with a sense of humor that reminds us sometimes, laughter truly is the best medicine. My practice is rooted in acceptance and non-judgment, and I am committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

If you're ready to begin the journey toward healing and growth, and open to learning new ways to navigate life, I would be honored to work with you.
